Prices
- 7 - If the student covered by the request does not need a paper-format copy of the Work, the Educational Institution or the student may pay Copibec the service charge as well as the same price charged for the paper-format version, as posted on the publisher’s website, for each digital copy of the Work, without being required to purchase the paper-format version.
- 8 - If the student covered by the request needs both the paper-format publication AND the accessible digital version of the Work :
a) By completing the relevant section of the request form and signing this document, the Educational Institution certifies to Copibec that a copy of the paper-format version of each Work has already been purchased by or for each student covered by the request.
b) To deliver an accessible version of a textbook, each publisher may, at its discretion, decide whether or not to charge 50% of the price of the paper-format version of the Work, as posted on the publisher's website, up to a maximum of $50 per Work. If applicable, the Educational Institution must pay the price set by the publisher for each copy of the Work, plus the service charge.
- 9 - Service charge: The Educational Institution must pay the $6 service charge per title ordered, regardless of the number of copies (e.g. 20 or 3 copies of a title = $6 service charge. But 1 copy each of 3 different titles = $18 service charge).
After you have signed this form and returned it to Copibec, you will receive an email containing a link to download the digital document. The link will remain active for 10 days, and will then be deactivated.
